Your First Visit

Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to complete a New Patient form. 

Initial Examination

Your dentist will start by reviewing your medical and dental history and performing a dental exam. Your exam will include an examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required x-rays.

Treatment Plan

Based on your history and examination, your dentist will create a long-term dental treatment plan for you. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your dental health and treatment options.

• How can I book an appointment?

  To book an appointment at Dr. M. Jawanda Dentistry, please contact our office during our regular business hours.

• How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

  To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please notify us about any change of plans as soon as you can, so we can offer another patient the space in our schedule.

• Do you offer appointment reminders?

  In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone appointment reminders from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.

• Does your clinic have on-site parking?

  Yes, patients can feel free to use our on-site parking.

Insurance & Payment Methods

At Dr. M. Jawanda Dentistry, we'll help you navigate our options for payment and direct billing to insurance companies so you can focus on getting the dental care you need.

• Direct Billing to Insurance

  We offer direct billing for most insurance plans. We can submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in reimbursement without the need for paper forms and signatures.

  Our administrative team can assist you in understanding your insurance plan and can also send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments. 

  Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.

• Payment Methods

  Any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.

  We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or most major credit cards.
